Sunday – Wednesday: 3 p.m. until midnight
Thursday – Saturday and on match days: 3 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Business hours within the fan mile
Sunday – Wednesday: 3 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Thursday – Saturday and on match days: 3 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Closing times for all other hotel and catering establishments
Normal closing times will remain applicable for all establishments outside the fan zone and fan mile. The police superintendent may, depending on match progress and success of the Swiss National Team, approve ‘free nights’.
Opening hours for shops and sales booths
Shops all over the city are free to remain open until midnight.
Additional sales booths will not be approved. Exceptions are possible in the stadium area and along the “Walk of Fans” during the three match days in Zürich.
Broadcasting of matches
Broadcasting of matches inside hotel and catering establishments
All matches may be broadcast inside boulevard cafes on TVs without additional loudspeakers until end of the game. This licence is, however, not valid for image projectors.
Live broadcasts outdoors
A total of three licences are required for live broadcasts outdoors onto big screens with loudspeakers:
- City of Zürich (Requirements: Support of the request by the district association or three associations active in that district)
- UEFA for screen diagonals >3 meters
- SUISA for screen diagonals >3 meters
Live broadcasts in residential districts
The City of Zürich will only approve broadcasts of group matches involving the Swiss National Team, matches held in Zürich and matches as of the quarter finals.
Live broadcasts in non-residential districts
There are no restrictions regarding broadcasts in non-residential districts.
