EM 08 Zürich Association
The EM 08 Zürich Association is supporting and promoting an attractive events programme around EURO 2008 throughout Region Zürich. In the run-up to EURO 2008 it is organising the Street Soccer Cup, a Töggli Tournament and the “EURO-Running Circuit” competition which will be held in the fan mile in Zürich.
The members of the Association are the City of Zürich, the Canton of Zürich, Coop, Feldschlösschen, Migros, Sika, Tamedia, the Zürcher Kantonalbank (Zürich Cantonal Bank) and the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (Zürich Public Transport). In addition to enjoyment of the game and exercise, the Street Soccer Cup is also intended to communicate concerning topics such as fair play, integration, power and prevention of substance abuse and nutrition.
